SHARING SATURDAY

Hello again on this Easter weekend. I gathered together some images earlier this week to share with you all today. I think they are super cute, especially the little bunny on the swing!

Holidays, such as Easter & Christmas can add to our feelings of isolation as a family.

Both of our daughter's & myself experience many difficulties when in social settings, for any length of time. We each have our own different areas of struggle surrounding anxiety & sensory overwhelm.

Our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome age 14, two years ago. Our youngest daughter & myself have not been diagnosed as yet, but find coping with our anxieties a constant battle everyday.

We cope better if we are with family or friends that we feel really comfortable with, in a very familiar environment or in our own house with all our familar things.

This can make visiting other people or welcoming visitors into our home a very delicate balance for everyone involved.

Throughout our very unexpected & continuing unfolding journey into learning & accepting autism, we are becoming more comfortable spending these annual events mainly as a family unit, just on our own.

Thankfully we have our lovely comfortable home, good food, our hobbies, our lovely guinea pigs & lots of unconditonal love for each other.

I am using this time to catch up on chores inside the house, whilst my husband & youngest daughter are out in our garden fixing fencing & creating a wooden walkway under our cherry tree. Our eldest daugter is coping well as her new, "Sims" computer pack is keeping her happily entertained. Also her main interest right now "My Little Pony" is beginning a brand new season today, double joy!

My share for you today is based on the artist,
Amy Brand.
I came across her work via facebook,

 Sweet Pea Felts

If you love her tiny soft felt mice sculptures below like I do, take a look at her blog or facebook page for more adorable cuteness.

Wishing you all a loving Easter break, with a few chocolate treats along the way!

Thank you for reading my post today.

Until next time, take care.
xx
