NEW BEGINNINGS

PEACE  HOPE  JOY

I completed this canvas last night inbetween taking my daughter & her friends to Brownies.

It refers to my last post where I showed you the wooden wall decoration in my kitchen, showing all these words.

I am working really hard on allowing these emotions to become part of me & also my family.

Maybe it's something to do with being 45, that I feel I need to connect with these words in my life right now?  

 

Peace I am finding in silent times, through reading & my recent artistic awakening.

Hope I find through other peoples experiences similar to my own story. These are the people who inspire me & give me hope to look forward with more courage.

Joy I find through listening to music, watching dance. Also in  my beautiful girls & their moments of laughter together.

 

I wanted it to speak for itself, not to busy just simple. I layered paper squares to represent all the different emotional layers we all carry. The small bird was perfect on the top square to say "Peace is here". I have worked through my layers over the past year with two wonderful professional people & myself through reading. I am seeing glimses of that little bird more often these days, which is a wonderful place for me to be.

Not only myself, but my husband & children are feeling the ripple of my peace creating positives for them too.
