SHINE

TO GIVE OFF LIGHT, TO EXCEL

 Yesterday my family were given a super possibility to shine again. We have all struggled to see any light over the past couple of years, for many reasons. You could say we have been bumping into each other in the dark for a long time now.

It was a wonderful moment yesterday, when you are invited to take a new path, where you are totally accepted. No judgment, no shame, no guilt. Instead a warm welcome, knowledge to understand & the compassion to care and respect the differences in people.

I made this card last night to celebrate our journey for myself and my family. I had no idea of what it was going to look like, but I knew it had to be pale yellow with black / greys. The yellow to remind us we can always try to shine individually & together. The darker shades mean our lives will always experience darker moments. But hopefully in time, yellow will show itself again. The words "creative lives" drew me,  as I think that is where I am finding some belonging & maybe my place to shine?
